Charter Types We Offer

Voyage Charter

Voyage charter involves renting the vessel and its crew for a specific journey or set of journeys. The shipowner is responsible for the vessel's operation and expenses during the charter. This type of charter is typically used for single, point-to-point delivery, allowing the charterer to transport goods on a per-trip basis without the long-term commitment of leasing a vessel.

>>

Partial Charter

In a partial charter, a charterer rents a portion of the cargo space of a vessel. This is often used when the charterer’s cargo volume is not sufficient to warrant a full vessel charter. It's an economical solution for smaller shipments, allowing the charterer to share the vessel with other parties while still enjoying the benefits of a chartered shipment.

>>

Time Charter

Under a time charter, the charterer leases the vessel for a specific period. The shipowner provides the vessel and crew, but the charterer assumes responsibility for daily operations and voyage expenses like fuel and port charges. This charter type offers flexibility for the charterer to use the vessel as needed within the agreed time, making it suitable for businesses with variable shipping needs.

>>

Bareboat Charter

A bareboat or demise charter involves the charterer taking over full control of the vessel along with all responsibilities for its operation and maintenance. In this arrangement, the charterer essentially acts as the shipowner for the duration of the charter. This type of charter is ideal for charterers who have the expertise to manage a vessel and prefer the flexibility to operate it as if it were their own.

Types of Vessels We Charter

MPP Heavy Lift Vessels

MPP Heavy Lift Vessels are versatile ships capable of carrying a wide range of cargo types. They are equipped with heavy lifting gear, making them suitable for transporting unusually large or heavy cargoes that cannot be handled by standard vessels. These ships are essential in sectors like project cargo, industrial parts, and construction equipment transportation.

Bulk Carriers

Bulk carriers are large ships designed to transport unpackaged bulk cargo, such as grains, coal, ore, and cement, in large cargo spaces called holds. They range in size and type, catering to different cargo needs and port facilities. Bulk carriers are fundamental to global trade, efficiently moving large quantities of essential raw materials.

River Ships

River ships are specially designed for navigating inland waterways like rivers and canals. They are typically smaller in size for ease of maneuverability and have a shallow draft to navigate in waters with limited depth. River ships are ideal for transporting goods and passengers across inland routes, connecting regions not accessible by larger ocean-going vessels.

General Cargo

General Cargo Ships are versatile vessels designed for transporting packaged goods and various types of cargo. They often have onboard cranes or other gear to load and unload cargo. These ships can handle a mix of products, from containerized goods to machinery and textiles, making them suitable for a wide range of general cargo transportation needs.

Barges

Barges are flat-bottomed vessels primarily used for transporting heavy or bulky goods, especially those unsuitable for road or rail transport. They are cost-effective for moving large volumes of cargo over inland waterways and can be towed or pushed by tug boats. Barges are key in transporting commodities like coal, timber, and oversized industrial components.

Tug Boats

Tug boats are small, powerful vessels designed to maneuver other vessels by towing or pushing them. They play a crucial role in port operations, assisting with the berthing and unberthing of larger ships, and are also used for towing barges, salvage operations, and icebreaking. Their power and agility make them indispensable in congested or shallow water areas.
