Heavy Load Project

Updated: May 28

Efficient and Reliable Transportation

Project Overview:

We recently completed a challenging and significant project involving the transportation of 18 pieces of heavy loads, totaling 9,182 cubic meters and 1,213.224 tons. The project entailed moving complex and substantial machinery from the Far East to Kazakhstan, with transshipment at Haydarpaşa Port and final delivery via the Volga-Don Channel to Kazakhstan.

Cargo Details:

The heavy loads included critical industrial equipment such as:

Rotary Dryer: Dimensions - 26.7 x 2.2 x 4.5 meters, Weight - 105 tons

Ethane Hold Up Drum: Dimensions - 25.5 x 5.5 x 5.5 meters, Weight - 111 tons

Loop Reactor: Dimensions - 27.6 x 6.5 x 6.5 meters, Weight - 90 tons

Amine Absorber: Dimensions - 40.5 x 2.5 x 2.5 meters, Weight - 40 tons

Project Execution:

Loading and Securing: Each piece of cargo was meticulously loaded and securely fastened to ensure safe transport. Specialized handling equipment and techniques were employed to manage the heavy and oversized nature of the cargo.

Transshipment at Haydarpaşa Port: The cargo was transshipped at Haydarpaşa Port with precision and efficiency. Our experienced team coordinated the transfer to minimize handling time and ensure seamless transition to the next phase of the journey.

Final Delivery via Volga-Don Channel: Utilizing the Volga-Don Channel for the final leg of the journey to Kazakhstan, we ensured a smooth and timely delivery. This route was chosen for its strategic advantage in facilitating large cargo transport.

Challenges Overcome:

Logistical Coordination: The complex nature of the cargo required detailed planning and coordination with multiple stakeholders, including port authorities and local transportation providers.

Navigational Expertise: Navigating the Volga-Don Channel with heavy and oversized loads demanded expert knowledge and precision, which our team executed flawlessly.
